ADMISSION

SVU is an equal opportunity institution. Graduation from high school or its equivalent is necessary for enrollment. Students are admitted on the basis of their projected ability to meet academic standards. The university evaluates objective and subjective data to select its students. The factors taken into consideration during the selection process include, but are not limited to: the potential to successfully complete the desired program, past academic performance records; and the amount and quality of past experience.

The university's application and selection procedures for its programs include the following requirements:
  1. Applicants must submit a completed University Application for Admission and pay a nonrefundable application fee in the form of a check or money order payable to "Silicon Valley University".
  2. All applicants must arrange to submit official transcripts from previously attended institutions. Students holding foreign degrees must make arrangements with SVU administration to have prior credit hours evaluated for equivalency. Contact SVU for further information regarding this process.
  3. Students planning to enter SVU must submit their application material and associated documents before the deadlines posted in the academic calendar. Each trimester has a separate deadline.
