It is with great disappointment and regret that we announce that Silicon Valley University (SVU) has ceased all classes from April 13, 2018.  Due to the fact that SVU lost its accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) on December 7th, 2017, it resulted in an “expired” status with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE), a unit of the California Department of Consumer Affairs which is in charge of regulation of private postsecondary educational institutions operating in the state of California.

Although SVU is closing down, we will keep the Student Office opened on weekday from 11AM to 6PM. to assist our students with their needs.  F-1 Students who need to transfer their SEVIS record to a SEVP-certified school should contact SVU Student Office immediately for assistance. Students who have not completed their program of study at SVU prior to December 7th, 2017 are eligible for a full refund of all institutional charges. Detailed information about transfer and refund are sent directly to students in separate announcement.

For additional contact information and questions, please contact SVU Student Office for assistance.
